Dream Big!

Mark and i have returned from weekend #1 of Sam Camp (http://www.klemmer.com/)

and what an incredible experience it has been so far. This journey is set to change out entire lives and reach our biggest goals one step at a time. We are asking for support from all of our friends and family to hold the intention that we will be not just completing our goals but surpassing them.

Sonda's goals: On or before November 13, 2009, I have 21 paying clients in the family Foundation and have completed the love Dare.

Mark's goals: On or before November 13, 2009, He has completed the first Monkey Band book, 20 pages or more and had 25 or more daddy daughter dates.

Pray for us, visualize us there, give us happy thoughts, lots of words of encouragement. WE ROCK! I will keep an update of completion as soon as we do it.

Our Labor Day Weekend

What a busy weekend. We started out Friday night running the Moon Run 5K. Chloe ran the 3.2 mile race by the light of the full moon and took a gold medal for her age division. She ran it in 37 minutes and 09 seconds. Sasha walked/ran the mile with her daddy and also took first but unfortuantely they did not had out medals fo the mile.

Then we went to a family movies night in St George to see Shorts. Next came Sunday when after a wonderful and inspiring church bible study we enjoyed a relaxing and fun picnic at Yankee Meadows. The girls had fun exploring and the dogs fell in the creek it was great.

Monday morning bright and early Sasha was lined up with her cheer squad to walk in the Parowan Labor Day Parade, of course she was the cutest one out there and looked just like a bright shining star. We will finish off this great long weekend enjoying dinner with friends.

It is unbelievable how beautiful these girls continue to get. Breathtaking. Sasha started that 1st grade and Chloe is now a large and in charge 2nd grader. The first day held a few challenges but we are now off and running. Here comes homework, spelling tests, math quizzes, and of course girl drama! Wish us luck.

I am a business woman

After nearly 5 years as a Child Protection Investigator I have decided that I can serve myself, my family, and my community much better offering prevention to child abuse rather than intervention.

Here is a look at my new home office. It is cozy, homey and absolutely PERFECT. The girls' art center is sharing the corner of the room and they love working on crafts while I am busy at my desk.
Be sure to check out my newly built website as well. It is my first website so I am open to any and all suggestions. http://www.yourstrongfamily.com/
Two more days till back to school, I will be sure to post some great first day of school pics.

Fun Family Times

What a lucky weekend, we had Great Grandma Dottie from Pennsylvania, Grandma Kathy from Montana, and Uncle Mike, Aunt Kris, Aime and Jessica from Arizona. We went to Duck Creek, sat by the fire, lit off fireworks, and laughed A LOT. It was really wonderful to have family together. Hopefully we can make it happen as often as it should. If not then we have tons of pictures to remeber this great weekend.

The mighty swimmer

This is Chloe's 25 M butterfly. She swam in three races and took second in all three. This was the biggest swim meet she has been to with 300kids competing. She is pretty great all day she was scared to race the 100 IM and did phenomenal! Her second place in the 100 IM was only 1 second off of being a 1st and this was the first time she has even tried it. She has two more big meets this summer. We will keep it posted.

Summer Vacation Dalton Style

Do you know how to hoola? I am thinking for Grandpa that is a NO. But lets give him an 'A' for effort shall we. As you can see it was a week of relaxing and fun in the sun in Albuquerque. I wish we could do this every week that would be a dream, but alas it was back to reality where both Mark and I are considering career moves but only our good Lord knows what lies ahead.

Zoom Zoom Zoom

Chloe did so great in her first running race! She completely smoked the other girls, it is phenomenal to watch. Due to an unfortunate circumstance at the end of her race she did not make it to finals, but next year she will know where the finish line is for sure. In all fairness there were people everywhere and not a whole lot of organization. I can guarantee that had she ran all the way through the finish line full out she had a very very high chance at medalling in the finals. Even adding an extra two seconds on her time she was 9th out of 32 girls that were 10 and under. Now we are back to swimming for the summer. This girl is all athlete!~!

Sasha Sasha Sasha

This is the end of the year Cheer performance. Sasha did great. If you look really close you can also see that she lost another tooth today. Chloe has been training vigorously for the Utah Summer Games. If anyone is interested in seeing the fastest 7 year old in all of Utah come to Cedar City June 11 and June 12, she will light the track on fire!!

This is what 6 looks like

This is what six looks like. Sasha is getting bigger and bigger. We had a very busy weekend in Grand Junction. It was lots of Fun. Sasha had a party, lost a tooth, went to see Hannah Montana Movie, and got to spend the weekend with her very best friend of all time Marli. They were very sad to be separated.
These little girls have a very special bond. I hope that we are able to remain in touch even from 337 miles away.

Easter was quite the adventure. These goofy kids can never get enough of each other. They all look adorable as usual and had way too much sugar. Days with family are always great but holidays combined with Grandmas cooking make it the perfect day.

Not the best picture but this is Mac's girlfriend and the new baby.

Tuesday, March 31, 2009

This was on the Soup a few weeks ago and Mark literally rewound it at least a dozen times he thought it was so funny. I think it is a bit sad but still laughed of course. If I was really lucky my dumb dogs would do this and maybe knock some sense into themselves. Mack is a daddy now but he didn't quite so something right because after three 'dates' he was supposed to have made at least 4 or 5 pups and she only had one. It is cute though. Does that make me a grandma at 30? Yikes that is scary LOL! Have a Happy week :) Love, the Dalton's

Birthday Wishes!!

March is filled with Birthdays that need to be acknowledged. Mike grew a year older last week on the 3rd. Today Chad would turn 34! WOOHOO happy birthday Chad. Yesterday Grandma turned 81 and on the 17th Grandpa will be yet another year older as well. Lets not forget my two uncles, Bob on the 15th andUncle Don on the 31st.
This all sounds like a great reason to celebreate the entire month of March.

We Love the Sunny Beaches

These two are California girls to the MAX. What a great time we had in the warm California sun. Mark and I had yet another incredible week with K&A words can not describe the knowledge that you leave with. http://www.klemmer.com/ check it out it will transform your life completely!
The girls were spoiled rotten by Grandma Kathy all week and we had the wonderful opportunity to hang out with Uncle Mike, Aunt Kris and the kids for the day at Sea World. Shamu was of course a big hit and we had to sit in the soak zone. Sasha went on her first real roller coaster and after a few tears begged to go again.
The zoo felt a bit more like Noah's Ark since in rained all day but the animals were so active and playful we did not even care about the rain.
As long as I never have to understand the interstates around there we will visit Sunny San Diego as often as possible.

It's all about HEART

February is truly all about heart this year. Mark and I are eagerly getting ready to attned Heart of the Samari in San Diego. This will be our third Klemmer and Associates experience and we know that it will be as life altering as the last two. THe girls will have a fun filled week with Grandma Kathy at the beach and we will have tons of pictures as soon as we return. It is important for all my friedns and family to know that I am a focussed, honorable, and abundant woman! Soon I will be sharing my purpose!
By the way everyone cross your fingers I applied for a new job that will give me more time with my children and less emotional trauma.

Memory Lane

Thought it would be fun to take a look at how many changes have occurred in the past few short years. The girls refuse to stop growing and I hardly know how to keep up. They were once such sweet little babies, now...Well they are big independent, sassy and perfect girls. As much as it scares us we can not wait to see how they will continue to grow, learn, and become even more beautiful, if that is at all possible.

It's a New Year....

Here in Utah the Dalton Family is busines as usual. Chloe had another swim meat last Saturday (24th) and took second in the 50 M backstroke plus she was 10 seconds faster than her last race. My video quit about 12 seconds into the race but I will make sure that there is one afte her next race, she has one per month. Sasha is still cheering and now also in tumbling, always the DIVA that one.
We had a really great time with our friends Aimee and Ava this weekened, first we walked the mall, I mean our mall, which is Wal Mart LOL. Then they came over for dinner, dancing and movie, we are teaching these girls young how to really let loose and party!
